Hot and Spicy Chick Pea Treats

  • 3 cups of rinsed and cooked chickpeas ( they must be cooked or frozen pre cooked )
  • 1 tsp Red chili pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp of cayenne
  • 2 tablespoon of organic coconut oil

Heat the oven to 400°F and arrange a rack in the middle.
Place the chickpeas in a large bowl and toss with the remaining ingredients until evenly coated.
Spread the chickpeas in an even layer on a rimmed aluminum baking sheet
bake until crisp, about 30 to 40 minutes.

Allow them to cool completely before giving a few to your babies.  Store in a sealed container does not need refrigeration.  These are good for up to two weeks
